Pre-Engineering FAQ

Where do I start if I do not have a finalized blueprint?
Provide your core operational constraints: operating voltage window, usable watt-hours, continuous and peak amperage, maximum enclosure dimensions, and host communication protocol. Our engineering team calculates the required cell count and configuration based on these variables.
What are the order volume thresholds?
Validation prototypes have no minimum order quantity. Custom builds utilizing standard tooling start at 100 units. Projects requiring dedicated injection molds, deep firmware modification, or third-party pack certifications typically scale from 300 units.
How are finished pack certifications managed?
Using certified cells does not automatically convey certification to a finished battery pack. We supply UN38.3 test summaries and IEC documentation for our architectures, and coordinate third-party testing (e.g., UL 1973, IEC 62619) directly within the project schedule.
What engineering data is required for a quotation?
Nominal voltage, continuous load current, peak surge duration, dimensional limits, operating temperature range, interface connector type, and forecasted annual volume.
